REVOLUTIONARY WORKPLACE® / EXECUTIVE PERFORMANCE
Leadership Alignment Accelerator
Repair fractured leadership. Restore performance.
When senior leaders pull in different directions, the whole organisation pays. This diagnostics-led intervention helps CEOs, ExCos and senior teams rebuild alignment, make the hard decisions and turn strategy into coordinated execution.

When leadership is fractured, performance fragments
Leadership misalignment is rarely confined to the boardroom. It travels through priorities, decisions, management behaviour and the employee experience. A strategy may be sound on paper and still stall because the people responsible for delivery are not genuinely aligned.
Some disagreement is healthy. The danger is unresolved disagreement: decisions reopened, commitments quietly resisted, and competing interpretations of what matters most.
The Accelerator gives the leadership team a structured way to surface difficult issues, make explicit choices and commit to a shared path forward.

DECISION DRAG
Important choices take too long, are revisited repeatedly, or are diluted until nobody clearly owns the outcome.
STRATEGY WITHOUT EXECUTION
Functions optimise locally, priorities compete, and the organisation spends energy coordinating instead of delivering.
TRUST AND CANDOUR ERODE
Concerns are withheld, challenge happens in corridors rather than in the room, and unresolved tension becomes cultural habit.
The costs are rarely visible in one budget line.
The cost of leaving it unresolved
Over time, fractured leadership can increase operating friction, weaken accountability, confuse employees and customers, slow change and exhaust high-performing people who compensate for gaps at the top.
The financial impact is distributed across missed opportunities, duplicated work, delayed decisions, avoidable escalation and under-delivery against strategic commitments. These costs can remain hidden because each function reports activity while the organisation loses coherence overall.
Doing nothing is still a choice: the existing patterns continue to shape decisions, behaviour and results.
What aligned leadership makes possible
Alignment is not enforced agreement or artificial harmony. It is a shared understanding of the outcomes that matter,
clarity about decisions and ownership, and the ability to work through differences without allowing them to derail delivery.
ONE STRATEGIC DIRECTION
A clear set of priorities, trade-offs and success outcomes that the leadership team can explain consistently.
DECISIONS THAT STICK
Explicit decisions, decision rights and escalation paths that reduce circular debate and rework.
VISIBLE ACCOUNTABILITY
Named owners, observable commitments and a practical 90-day action plan connected to delivery.
A five-stage system: from diagnosis to delivery
Each engagement is shaped around the organisation’s context, leadership maturity and the issues preventing performance.
01
Diagnose
Surface performance barriers, trust fractures, unclear roles and avoided decisions.
02
Align
Build a shared view of reality, strategic intent, priorities and what must change.
03
Decide
Resolve critical questions, agree trade-offs and make decisions explicit.
04
Commit
Define ownership, behavioural commitments, measures and review conversations.
05
Deliver
Translate decisions into a 90-day action plan with follow-through and accountability.

Part of a broader performance system
The Leadership Alignment Accelerator is a focused intervention within the broader Revolutionary Workplace® approach to people, teams, leadership and culture.
Where diagnosis points beyond the executive team, the work can connect to people-performance diagnostics, high-performance team development, leadership capability, trust and accountability, culture transformation and execution practices.
The intention is to address the system producing the performance—not simply improve the mood of a meeting.
Designed around core leadership challenges and constraints
The intervention is typically delivered as a focused one- or two-day leadership alignment session, with preparation and follow-through proportionate to the issue. More complex or persistent organisational fractures may require a wider programme.
Participants usually include the CEO or MD, ExCo or senior leadership team, and relevant board or functional leaders where appropriate. The work is facilitated around real strategic and operational tensions—not generic team-building exercises.
Before the session, we clarify the business context, desired outcomes, key stakeholders and decisions that need to move. During the work, the team examines patterns, addresses difficult issues, makes choices and records commitments. Afterwards, the action plan supports follow-through.

Questions executives ask
Is this team building?
No. The focus is business-critical leadership alignment: strategic choices, trust, decision quality, accountability and execution. It is designed for consequential issues that a recreational event will not resolve.
How long does it take?
Most engagements run for one or two days, with preparation and follow-through. Wider or entrenched issues may need a longer intervention.
Who should attend?
The CEO or MD and the leaders who collectively own strategy and delivery. Depending on the issue, this may include ExCo, the board, business-unit heads or HR leadership.
What does it cost?
Engagements start at R35,000. A confidential conversation establishes the context and appropriate scope before a proposal is prepared.
Strategy is delivered by people.
Your strategy deserves an aligned leadership team
If decisions are stalling, trust is strained, priorities conflict or accountability is inconsistent, start by addressing the leadership system behind the symptoms.
Arrange a confidential conversation to clarify what is happening, what needs to change and whether the Leadership Alignment Accelerator is the right intervention.
